Under the banner of, ‘My Life, My Choice’, the Disability, Ageing and Lifestyle Expo is the go-to place for people to find out more about the range of options available to support their lifestyle needs – at any stage of life, or circumstance.

Wherever you are at in your journey, you can find out more at the Expo with information on Government and community support programs, retirement living, housing and accommodation options; rehabilitation and therapeutic services, assistive technology, travel and recreation alternatives and more!

Hosted by the Catalyst Foundation and an initiative supported by Ageing SA and the Seniors Information Service Inc., the Expo last year attracted 191 exhibitors and just over 3,000 visitors through the door.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, 17th October at the Goyder Pavilion, Adelaide Showgrounds from 10am to 4pm.

The Disability, Ageing and Lifestyle Expo is a community event with free entry.

With over 100 exhibitors at last year’s event, the Expo is the go-to event to find out everything you need to know about support services under the one roof, with information on service providers, therapies, day options and technologies – all designed with young people in mind.

Event organiser, Ben Waechter, himself a father of a child with cerebral palsy, found it challenging and confusing in the early days following diagnosis to find the information that he needed to support his son.

He started KYD-X, a not for profit organisation, and the Kids & Youth Disability Expo with the intent to help others; to provide a greater level of information to parents who might be struggling to find available resources to support their journey. The event has also provided an opportunity for young people, parents and carers to network and share their stories with others who are experiencing similar circumstances.

This year’s event will be held at the Priceline Stadium on Saturday, 12th October from 10am – 4pm.

The SA Prayer Breakfast 2019 will be held at the Convention Centre, Thursday 22nd August, from 7.00am.

Hosted by CBMC (Christian Business & Marketplace Connections) – a global, non-denominational organisation that seeks to connect and inspire a community of faith, the event this year features inspiring keynote speaker, Dr Ed Silvoso, who will take us on a journey to ‘Transform our World’.

The annual Breakfast is always well supported, with last year’s event attracting over 1,000 attendees from the religious, political and business community across South Australia.
